My name is Danny Felts and I’m a multidisciplinary creator, fabricator, and courier based out of Brooklyn, NY.
My first foray into the arts in NYC came in the form of the tintype photo featured on this page. I first found out about this specific type of photography when visiting a museum the first month I lived here in 2016, and while I ultimately didn’t pursue it beyond a cursory period, it introduced me to the idea of entrenching myself in a variety of projects and focuses and seeing what intrigues me the most. Since then I’ve gotten involved in woodworking/furniture making, industrial sewing, and multimedia production/postproduction among other things.
Cycling has also become a huge element of my professional life. I started riding a bicycle as an adult in 2007 as a means to get around the Pacific Northwest where I grew up, however since then I’ve become involved in both full time bike messenger work as well as general delivery and logistics. The heaviest thing I’ve delivered was likely 100+ pounds of fabric, the largest or most awkward was maybe 30 or so 14x8x8 boxes and two accompanying bags of smaller boxes, and the smallest/weirdest was a single polaroid.
If you have a project that you’re working on reach out and I’ll get back to you at my soonest convenience.
